Technical Leadership
Principal Consultant
Saif brings over 24 years of leadership and technical experience in the energy sector, specializing in strategic asset growth, reservoir management, and the execution of technically and commercially complex upstream projects.
He has held senior roles with Occidental Petroleum (Oxy), OQEP, Schlumberger (SLB), and Maha Energy, leading asset optimization, field development planning, and production growth initiatives across multiple Omani blocks and international projects. His work has contributed to significant production ramp-ups, including large-scale upstream development programs and major processing facility projects.
Saif combines strategic growth planning with hands-on technical oversight, supporting operators and investors in asset evaluation, portfolio optimization, M&A support, and high-risk operational decision-making. His experience spans exploration, appraisal, development planning, JV evaluations, and energy agreement negotiations.
He holds a B.Eng. and MSc. in Petroleum Engineering, is a certified consultant in Oman, and is trained in M&A and energy contracts negotiations.
